Stanford opening outpatient center in Redwood City — 4 insights

Stanford (Calif.) Medicine will open its Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center in Redwood City, Calif., July 9, Climate reports.

Here's what you should know:

1. The center is three stories and 90,000 square feet. The health system built the center to complement services offered at its other outpatient center in Redwood City.

2. The center features an orthopedic clinic, a digestive health center, a pelvic health center, an endoscopy center and imaging services.

3. It includes several patient rooms and preoperative surgical suites.

4. Stanford University School of Medicine Dean Lloyd Minor, MD, said, "The Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center captures the essence of the high-tech, high-touch concept that is so important to our Precision Health vision.
