OakLeaf Surgical Hospital is planning an 84,000-square-foot surgical facility, according to a WEAU report.
The facility is expected to generate at least $25 million in property tax valuation. The Altoona City Council unanimously approved a sales and development agreement with the surgical hospital for the facility on June 14.
The city said there will be several opportunities for the public to provide input on the project.
