Mayo Clinic Health System-Northwest Wisconsin Region submitted a proposal to the Hudson, Wis., planning commission for an approximately 100,000-square-foot medical facility, according to The Post Bulletin. The proposed facility would function as a clinic and outpatient surgery center.
Here are three things to know:
1. According to the permit application, the building would include 60 to 75 clinic rooms, six to eight operating rooms and four procedure suites.
2. The commission is scheduled to vote on the plan on Feb. 22.
3. Hudson has 13,744 residents and is located 15 minutes east of St. Paul and 30 minutes east of Minneapolis. The proposed location could make Mayo Clinic much more competitive in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
