McMurray, Pa.-based Allegheny Health Network’s Peters Township Surgery Center nurse Dolores Schilken was part of a team of providers caring for athletes at the 41st Special Olympics Pennsylvania Winter Games, Jan. 28 to Jan. 30.

Here’s what you should know:

1. Allegheny Health Network’s Robert Schilken, MD, Ravi Ved, DO, Melissa Roscher, DO, and Brian Stone, DO, as well as, trainers Richelle Beall and Timothy Smith rounded out the team.

2. The team provided care to the athletes of the winter games, which featured more than 300 athletes and 135 coaches.

3. AHN is an official U.S. Olympics medical care provider. It’s among a few select U.S.-based institutions to provide care to U.S. Olympics’ athletes.
