Ten months ago, Sue Carocari became the administrator of River Valley ASC in Norwich, Conn. Ms. Carocari also serves as the center's director of nursing.
David Lewis has become the CEO of the Colorado Center for Orthopaedic Excellence. Prior to his current role, Mr. Lewis held positions included administrator of Steadman Hawkins Clinic – Denver and administrator of Centrum Surgical Center.
Barry McElyea, BSN, RN, has stepped into the role of director of nursing at a Surgem surgery center. Prior to his current role, Mr. McElyea served as program manager of perioperative services at Beth Israel Medical Center.
Jeffrey Orgen recently became an administrator with Hospital Corporation of America. His previous experience includes serving as administrator of Island Endoscopy Center and director of business operations with AmSurg.
Sandy Polanis recently became a contracting manger with Access MediQuip. Previously, Ms. Polanis served as the president of Polanis Consulting Services.
