5 things to know about TouchCare's product update

TouchCare updated a product that will provide physicians with more features, allowing them to readily adapt mobile video consults into their practice.

Here are five things to know:

1. The product features a web-based dashboard, enabling support staff to conduct administrative functions on behalf of physicians and other clinic staff.

2. Additionally, the product has an integrated payment platform for direct patient billing and enhancements to application security and video performance.

3. The update allows users to schedule and perform secure video appointments with one another in a HIPAA-compliant fashion with no change in clinical workflow.

4. To help practices delegate telemedicine workflow to the correct staff members, TouchCare's Practice Dashboard grants users access to common functions on behalf of physicians and other team members.

5. The update's integrated credit card payment facilitates direct revenue generation through telemedicine. It can charge co-pays or fees for services.

"Instead of connecting consumers to an unknown physician, we facilitate mobile video calls and deeper engagement with the doctors and practices individuals already know and trust", said Damian Gilbert, TouchCare’s founder and CEO. "With new features like the admin dashboard and seamless billing, TouchCare further simplifies the administrative processes to allow providers to focus on their community of care, strengthening relationships, increasing convenience, enhancing efficiencies and improving outcomes for everyone involved."
