Pennsylvania-based Coordinated Health is planning a new surgery center in Smithfield Township, Pa., according to a report from the Pocono Record.
The health system is proposing a "short stay" medical surgery center; Coordinated Health has received a zoning amendment that allows inpatient and outpatient elective surgery and other medical and dental treatment, according to the report.
The proposal must still receive approval from Smithfield Township supervisors.
