Director of Surgical Services: Moses Taylor Hospital

We are currently recruiting for a Director of Surgical Services at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, Pennsylvania!

Moses Taylor Hospital is a 217-bed, acute care hospital committed to providing quality healthcare that is patient- and community-focused. Moses Taylor Hospital is an affiliate of Commonwealth Health, which includes eight hospitals and an extensive network of healthcare agencies and providers throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Key services include family birthing suites, nationally recognized for three years in the top 10 percent of birthing hospitals in the nation, orthopedics, imaging, and senior behavioral health services.

The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care, maintaining required staffing and acting as a liaison between the Hospital administration and the staff in the surgical suites and PACU, PAT, SPU, and Central Sterile Processing.


Qualifications

•    Requires a positive attitude, team-oriented, collaborative individual.
•    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
•    BSN required; MSN or master's in health related field preferred.

Certifications/Licensure/Experience

•    Current PA Registered Nurse license; or eligible for immediate state license.
•    CPR Required: Adult, Child & Infant with AED (American Heart Association or ASHI approved).
•    CNOR preferred.
•    Three (3) years surgical experience required.
•    Five (5) years management experience required.
