University Hospitals launches in-house Medicare Advantage plan

Cleveland, Ohio-based University Hospitals has launched a co-branded Medicare Advantage Plan for individuals in three Ohio counties in partnership with PrimeTime Health Plan.

The plan, University Hospitals Medicare Advantage Plan by PTHP, will give members access to University Hospitals’ network of facilities and providers, including more than 3,300 orthopedic, oncology and heart and vascular specialists. 

Currently, PrimeTime Health Plan has more than 14,000 Medicare-eligible members in the state of Ohio, according to an Oct. 6 press release. 

Eligible individuals will be able to enroll in the new UH Medicare plan between Oct. 15 and Dec. 7.
