21 new GI practices this year

Here are 21 gastrointestinal and endoscopy practices that have opened or announced plans to open this year, as reported by Becker’s:

1. ASC management services provider AmSurg partnered with Owings Mills, Md.-based LifeBridge Health and Pikesville, Md.-based Woodholme Group to open a gastroenterology ASC. 

2. Miami-based Gastro Health opened a new facility in Cincinnati. 

3. Gastroenterology of the Rockies opened a new GI and endoscopy center in Denver, Colo. 

4. Weirton (W.Va) Medical Center opened a new 6,000-square-foot gastroenterology practice. 

5. Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health finished construction on a five-story medical office building dedicated to digestive health. 

6. Manitowoc, Wis.-based Renovo Health opened an endoscopy and surgery center. 

7. Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Northside Hospital Gwinnett opened its Advanced Center for Interventional Pulmonary and Gastrointestinal Services. 

8. A new medical office building leased to Allina and MNGI Digestive Health opened in Lakeville, Minn. 

9. New York City-based Gastroenterology Associates of Brooklyn opened a new office in the Bay Ridge neighborhood, offering specialized care for women. 

10. Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera Health opened a new medical office building focused on digestive care at its Louise Health Campus. 

11. Gastroenterology Associates of Brooklyn (New York City) opened a new facility. 

12. Utah Gastroenterology relocated its practice in Draper, Utah, to a new, larger endoscopy center.

13. Denver Digestive Health Specialists, in partnership with GI Alliance, opened a new clinic in Arvana, Colo. 

14. GI Alliance of Illinois, an Arlington-based affiliate, moved to a new facility with seven additional clinic rooms. 

15. A gastroenterology, colo-rectal and pain management-focused ASC opened in Metairie, La. 

16. Urbana, Ill.-based Carle Health opened two digestive health facilities in Peoria, Ill. 

17. Phoenix-based Arizona Digestive Health opened a new gastroenterology and endoscopy clinic in Tucson, Ariz. 

18.  U.S Digestive Health opened a new facility in Colmar, Pa. 

19. GI Alliance began development on an ASC in Kansas City, Mo., in partnership with real estate company MedCore Partners and Cig Partners Two. 

20. Gastro Health finalized a deal with Gastroenterology and Nutrition Specialists in Orlando, Fla. 

21. GI Alliance partnered with three practices in Rhode Island, increasing its presence in the Northeast.
