Here are 17 new ASCs that were announced, completed or developed in July, as reported by Becker’s:
1. Salisbury, Md.-based TidalHealth broke ground on what will become the system’s largest outpatient facility, which will include an ASC.
2. Miami-based Mount Sinai Medical Center opened a new 33,000-square-foot outpatient facility in East Hialeah, Fla.
3. UC San Diego Health opened the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion in San Diego, a $25 million, 250,000-square-foot facility designed to expand access to outpatient, surgical and cancer care
4. Canton, Ill.-based Graham Health System broke ground on a $5.1 million ASC in Galesburg, Ill.
5. GI Alliance and MedCore Partners opened an ASC and managed clinic in Kansas City, Mo.
6. Fort Myers, Fla.-based Lee Health is set to open a new outpatient facility in Cape Coral’s Bimini Square development.
7.Construction is underway on a medical office building that will also house an ASC. The building represents a partnership among Remedy Medical Properties, Kayne Anderson Real Estate and Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours.
8. United Surgical Partners International opened a new ASC as part of the Mercy Medical Office Building in Durango, Colo.
9. St. Louis-based SSM Health broke ground on a 40,000-square-foot outpatient center in Verona, Wis.
10. Orthopaedic Associates and Deaconess Health System, both of Evanville, Ind., broke ground on a new ASC in Newburgh, Ind.
11. NYU Langone Hospitals filed a certificate of need for a freestanding ASC in West Harrison, N.Y.
12. Cleveland Clinic Children’s opened its first standalone pediatric medical outpatient center in Rocky River, Ohio.
13. Morehead City, N.C.-based Carteret Health Care will apply for approval to build an ASC in Cedar Point, N.C.
14. NYU Langone Health opened an outpatient care center in Middle Island, N.Y.
15. Mount Sinai South Nassau is planning to open an ambulatory multi-specialty in Wantagh, N.Y.
16. Sutter Health opened a new surgical facility inside the Tower Health and Wellness Center in Turlock, Calif.
17. RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group is planning to open a multispecialty ambulatory care facility in Old Bridge, N.J.
