Sutter Health cuts ribbon on California surgery center

Sutter Health has opened a new surgical facility inside the Tower Health and Wellness Center in Turlock, Calif., according to a July 2 report from the Turlock Journal

The 11,000-square-foot center has three operating rooms and will initially provide care to Medicare patients before expanding to include other insurance types in 2026. 

In early 2026, Sutter Health plans to add gastrointestinal, orthopedics, podiatry and pain management suites to the Tower Health and Wellness Center.
