Orthopaedic Associates and Deaconess Health System, both of Evansville, Ind., broke ground on a new ASC in Newburgh, Ind., according to a July 16 news release.

The two-story facility, located on Deaconess’ Gateway Campus, will include five operating rooms for orthopedic procedures, as well as preoperative and postoperative recovery areas designed for orthopedic patients.

The center will focus on outpatient services, including joint replacements, sports medicine and pain management. It will also feature advanced robotic surgical technology and integrated electronic medical records.

Construction is expected to be completed in fall 2026, with the center opening shortly thereafter.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
