GI physician leader to know: Dr. Charles Bedard of Minor & James Medical

Charles K. Bedard, MD, is a gastroenterologist providing care with Minor & James Medical, a Swedish Health Partner, in Seattle. He is affiliated with professional organizations such as American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Washington State Medical Association and Pacific Northwest Gastroenterology Society.

Dr. Bedard has a professional interest in liver disease, gastrointestinal endoscopy as well as the evaluation of difficult esophageal reflux and swallowing disorders; diagnosis and management of colitis and Crohn’s disease; and evaluation of gastroenterological bleeding and diarrhea problems. He is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Dr. Bedard earned his medical degree at University of Arizona in Tuscon. He completed his internal medicine residency and his gastroenterology fellowship at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
