Dr. Corlin has a professional interest in gastroesophageal reflux, constipation, hepatitis C and irritable bowel syndrome. He set up University of California Los Angeles’ first gastrointestinal endoscopy unit and also served as its director. In 1979, the Governor of California appointed him to serve on the Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
Dr. Corlin earned his medical degree at Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his internal medicine residency at Hahnemann Hospital and then completed his gastroenterology fellowship at UCLA. He also served for two years in the Heart Disease and Stroke Control Program for the United States Public Health Service.
