Mississippi medical center notches 7th cardiac care award

Meridian, Miss.-based Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center has received the 2025 NCDR Chest Pain – MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award from the American College of Cardiology, according to a July 18 hospital news release. The award marks the hospital’s seventh consecutive year of national recognition from the ACC.

The award honors hospitals that demonstrate sustained, top-level performance in treating high-risk heart attack patients, based on guidelines from the ACC and American Heart Association.

According to the release, Baptist Anderson consistently met national treatment standards and fully participated in the registry, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, guideline-based heart attack care.
