5 new partnerships in cardiology

Five cardiology-focused partnerships that have transpired since the COVID-19 pandemic began:

1. HSHS Medical Group and Prairie Cardiovascular, both based in Springfield, Ill., partnered to open HSHS Medical Group Multispecialty Care-Mattoon (Ill.).

2. Two Kirkwood, Mo.-based practices — St. Louis Cardiovascular Institute and St. Louis Specialty Surgical Center — partnered with Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates to provide outpatient cardiovascular care throughout the St. Louis area.

3. New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System and Hackensack, N.J.-based Cross County Cardiology partnered to expand cardiology care across Bergen and Hudson counties in New Jersey, Mount Sinai announced July 15.

4. The American College of Cardiology partnered with Heartbeat Health to create a virtual care platform. The solution is intended to help cardiologists and their patients make informed clinical care decisions.

5. SOC Telemed and DeRidder, La.-based Beauregard Health System partnered to deliver specialty telemedicine services in the hospital. Beauregard is the first health system to use SOC’s cardiology offering.
