4 new cardiology ASCs in October

Here are four newly announced or opened cardiology ASCs reported by Becker’s since Oct. 16:

1. Evanston, Ill.based NorthShore-Edward-Elmhurst Health broke ground on a 71,000-square-foot cardiovascular institute in Naperville, Ill.

2. Cardiology Associates of Fairfield County (Conn.) opened a 21,500-square-foot facility inside of a new healthcare hub in process for Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare, which is expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2024.

3. Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center plans to develop a multispecialty ambulatory care center in Quincy, Mass. The site, pending local and state approval, will house specialties including orthopedics, cardiology and radiology.

4. Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care is constructing a 60,000-square-foot medical center inside a shopping mall in Chicago that will include office space, immediate care and an ASC. The ASC will house surgical specialties including cardiology, gastroenterology and orthopedics.
