4 cardiology leadership appointments in 1 month

Here are four cardiologists stepping into leadership roles that Becker’s has reported on since April 9:

1. Anthony Fletcher, MD, an interventional cardiologist in Central Arkansas, was named president of the Association of Black Cardiologists.

2. Jared Tobolski, MD, was appointed director of Lewiston-based Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute’s preventive cardiology and subspecialty clinic, as well as director of cardiac rehabilitation.

3. The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson appointed Hesham Sadek, MD, PhD, director of the Sarver Heart Center and chief of the division of cardiology.

4. AdventHealth Hendersonville (N.C.) added Eduardo Balcells, MD, to serve as medical director of cardiology.
