Here’s what you should know.
1. A study, presented at the 2nd World Arthroplasty Congress in Rome, Italy, April 19 to April 21, found patients had a significant improvement in knee function at six months after using the Attune knee.
2. DePuy Synthes then summarized a series of studies in a report it presented. In each of the five studies, Attune knee patients had a shorter length of stay than patients receiving comparable implants.
3. DePuy Synthes EMEA Joint Reconstruction Vice President Torbjorn Skold said, “I’m delighted that this data demonstrated that study patients receiving the Attune knee experienced positive outcomes related to the rate of return of functional outcomes and reduced length of stay, allowing these patients to get back to a positive quality of life.”
