Tucson (Ariz.) Medical Center will expand its Rincon campus, including an ASC, according to a Nov. 10 press release. Here are four things to know:
1. The expansion includes an ASC to provide an affordable option for surgeries.
2. Groundbreaking for the ASC is expected for next year.
3. The expanded campus will further integrate services including primary and secondary care, cardiology, and orthopedics.
4. The design of the expansion will help mitigate the spread of disease with an exterior porch near the check-in area, a compartmentalized lobby and waiting area, and maximized air changes.
