A ribbon-cutting for a new medical office building on the campus of Riverside Doctors' Hospital Williamsburg (Va.) was held on April 25, according to an April 30 report from the Daily Press. 

Smith Medical Direct Specialty Care Surgery Center of Denver has officially opened in Littleton, Colo.

HCA Healthcare and healthcare real estate development, investment and management company NexCore Group have partnered to create an ASC in Orem, Utah.

AdventHealth Daytona Beach (Fla.) is preparing for a $220 million medical office building expansion just a month after opening a 20,000-square-foot Daytona Beach ASC, according to an April 24 report from the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

The Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan plans to purchase the former KMart headquarters in Troy, Mich., to convert the space to a $4.4 million ambulatory and outpatient facility, according to an April 23 report from the Michigan Daily.

UC San Diego Health is developing an outpatient medical center with a price tag between $175 million and $225 million in San Diego's Rancho Bernardo neighborhood, the San Diego Union Tribune reported April 23.

The Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania recently opened Slate Hill Surgery Center in Camp Hill, Pa.

Columbus-based OhioHealth  is nearing completion of the first phase of a $400 million expansion project, which will bring a new ambulatory space and medical office building to the system's Grant Medical Center in downtown Columbus, according to an April 23 report from The Columbus Dispatch.

Ascension Sacred Heart has proposed a new medical office building in Pensacola, Fla., near its Perdido Key clinic, according to an April 22 report from the Pensacola News Journal.

Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new ASC in Lexington, Ky., Baptist Health Hamburg, according to an April 20 report from ABC affiliate WTVQ.

HCA Midwest has completed construction on a $9.3 million ASC in Kansas City, Mo., according to an April 17 report from the Kansas City Business Journal.
