In-Vitro Colorectal Cancer Screening Market to Be Valued at $1.6B by 2019

The market for in-vitro colorectal cancer screening tests, currently valued at $333 million, is expected to reach a value of more than $1.6 billion by 2019, according to a GlobalData report.

France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK currently hold 44 percent of the market share, while the US holds 22 percent and the Asia-Pacific region holds 32 percent.

Fecal occult blood tests currently account for 94 percent of the global market, but GlobalData predicts that novel blood tests will increase in use.
