GI physician leader to know: Dr. Steve Venturatos of Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates

Steve G. Venturatos, MD, entered into private practice at New Orleans-based Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates in 1983. He is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy as well as the American Gastroenterology Association.

Dr. Venturatos has a professional interest in acid reflux disease, hepatitis C and irritable bowel syndrome. He regularly attends seminars and workshops on advanced in gastroenterology. He is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He has been featured in the “Best Doctors” issue of New Orleans Magazine.

Dr. Venturatos his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at New Orleans-based Ochsner Foundation Hospital.
