GI physician leader to know: Dr. Carroll Koshcheski of Gastroenterology Associates

Carroll Koshcheski, MD, is in private practice with Gastroenterology Associates, a seven-physician group in Hickory, N.C. He is serving as the American College of Gastroenterology’s regional councilor-North Carolina. He has previously served as chief of staff at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.

Dr. Koshcheski has been in private practice in Hickory since 1991. He is board-certified and a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. His hospital affiliations also include Carolinas Medical Center-Lincoln in Lincolnton, N.C., and Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory.

Dr. Koshcheski earned his medical degree and completed his residency as well as his gastroenterology fellowship at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
