Dr. Martinez-Camacho’s clinical interests include viral hepatitis, immune-mediated liver disorders, cirrhosis, portal hypertension and liver masses. He also actively participates in the endoscopy laboratory performing upper endoscopy, variceal ligation and colonoscopy. He has published articles and book chapters in a number of texts, including “Controversies in Hepatology: The Experts Analyze Both Sides.”
Dr. Martinez-Camacho earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He completed his internal residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he also completed a fellowship in hepatology and liver transplantation. He has also completed a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at University of Colorado-Denver in Aurora.
