Dr. Iwata received his medical degree from the Denver-based University of Colorado Medical School.
He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the Phoenix-based Maricopa Medical Center.
Dr. Iwata completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the Albuquerque-based University of New Mexico.
He is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Iwata enjoys fly fishing, golf and traveling with his family.
