After earning his medical degree from University of Missouri in Columbia, he completed a residency at St. Louis-based St. John’s Mercy Medical Center and a fellowship at Indiana University in Indianapolis.
Dr. Benage has been in practice for more than 20 years. He is a past chief of gastroenterology at St. John’s.
He is an American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy member, among others.
