GI leader to know: Dr. Arun Swaminath of Lenox Hill Hospital

Arun Swaminath, MD, is the inflammatory bowel disease program director at New York City-based Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Swaminath is involved with Lenox Hill Hospital’s gastroenterology fellowship training program, and is an associate professor at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine.

Previously, he served as chapter medical advisory committee chair for the New York City Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.

Dr. Swaminath is a member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation’s National Scientific Advisory Professional Education Committee.
