Gastroenterologist to know: Dr. Kristine Krueger of University of Louisville School of Medicine

Kristine J. Krueger, MD, is the chief of academic of clinical affairs in the gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition division at the University of Louisville (Ky.) School of Medicine. She is also the chief of staff and assistant dean at the University of Louisville Hospital.

Dr. Krueger’s clinical interests include therapeutic endoscopy, gastroenterology, complimentary and alternative medicine, biliary and pancreatic endoscopy and colon cancer screening. She is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Krueger earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville and completed her residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
