Tifton (Ga.) Endoscopy Center acquired the Fuse Endoscopy Center from EndoChoice.

The Senate Finance Committee released a 144-page report on its findings from an 18-month, bipartisan investigation on the pricing and marketing of Gilead Sciences‘ hepatitis C drugs. The report concludes Gilead Sciences’ primary concern was maximizing revenue, while affordability was not a focus.

Takeda Pharmaceutical and Cour Pharmaceutical Development entered into a partnership to research and develop immune modulating therapies for the treatment of celiac disease.

A new clinical study of the NuQ blood test from VolitionRx revealed the test was able to accurately detect 91 percent of colorectal cancer cases.
