Boston Scientific receives CE mark for single-use duodenoscope — 3 insights

Boston Scientific is expanding out of America and taking its single-use duodenoscope to Europe after the company received a CE mark for the device, Mass Device reports.

What you should know:

1. Boston Scientific received FDA approval for the Exalt Model D Duodenoscope in December.

2. The duodenoscope will be commercially available in Europe during the first quarter of 2020.

3. Boston Scientific will release the scope in Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom and Sweden to begin.
