Cardiology journal appoints new editor-in-chief

US Cardiology Review named Bill Gogas, MD, PhD, its new editor-in-chief Dec. 1, Digital Journal reports.

Dr. Gogas has contributed to the journal since 2018 and served as deputy editor-in-chief preceding this.

He is an interventional cardiologist certified by The Spencer B. King III Catheterization Laboratory in Nanjing, China. He earned his medical degree from University of Athens Medical School in Greece and completed his PhD thesis at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

Dr. Gogas was also a former instructor of medicine at Atlanta-based Emory University.
