Rush University Medical Center opens 40K-sq.-ft. outpatient center: 3 details to know

Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center opened a 40,000-square-foot outpatient care center in the South Loop neighborhood of the city.

Here are the key details to know:

1. The center, dubbed “Rush South Loop,” is scheduled to start seeing patients Oct. 1.

2. Rush South Loop is composed of 61 exam and procedure rooms, practices for 18 specialty programs and imaging capabilities.

3. The center will include pediatric and adult primary care providers, as well as cancer, colorectal, dermatology, gastroenterology, pain management and bariatric surgery specialists.
