BayCare Clinic to open new plastic surgery center: 5 things to know

BayCare Clinic in Wisconsin is planning to open a new plastic surgery center, according to a Green Bay Press Gazette report.

Here are five key notes:

1. The outpatient surgery center will be a 12,000-square-foot facility dedicated to plastic surgery and aesthetics.

2. The new office will include aesthetics, surgery, nurse injectors and skin care in a single location to keep up with the growing demand.

3. BayCare is close to finalizing the permits to begin construction and hopes to begin before the end of the year. The clinic is expected to open next summer.

4. Elizabeth O’Connor, MD, a plastic surgeon with an emphasis on cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, joined the organization. BayCare is also hiring additional front office staff.

5. The new building with include a retail center and allow BayCare to offer more services than are currently available.
