During his career, Dr. Blasco has been instrumental in developing several free-standing, physician-owned outpatient surgery centers, including the Chicago Prostate Cancer Surgery Center. He is also past vice chairman of anesthesiology at Parkside Anesthesia in Chicago.
Dr. Blasco completed a residency in anesthesia at Loyola Medical Center and a critical care and research fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. His additional training includes Lean Healthcare Certification from Villanova University.
