Three ways to save money on supplies:
1. Test products. ASCs can have patients try out products before committing to buy them, which helps ensure the product is a good fit for the surgery center and its patients.
2. Do research. Completing research about whether a product is billable through contractreading reviews, and confirming whether it’s FDA approved helps ensure a new product is safe and usable in the ASC.
3. Consider value. Evaluating the value a new product would bring to an ASC helps confirm whether it’s worth introducing.
