1. TriasMD acquired Pinnacle Surgery Center in Walnut Creek, Calif. Through the partnership, TriasMD will work with the ASC’s founder, Amir Jamali, MD, to bring complex spine services to the facility.
2. Irvine, Calif.-based Hoag Orthopedic Institute leased a 12,000-square-foot surgery center space in Aliso Viejo, Calif.
3. On Oct. 9, Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health and Billings-based Ortho Montana broke ground on the Gallatin Valley Surgery Center in Bozeman, Mont. The organizations hope the new surgery center will expand orthopedic and sports medicine offerings to those in Gallatin County.
4. Salt Lake City-based Intermountain is poised to open an orthopedic-focused ASC in Park City, Utah.
