UK Researcher Discovers Undetected Layer in the Cornea

Harminder Dua, professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences at the University of Nottingham in the U.K., has discovered a previously unknown layer in the cornea.

Dua’s Layer, named after the professor who discovered it, is located between the corneal stroma and Descemet’s membrane.
