Washington ASC finishes growth-accommodating expansion

Lakewood, Wash.-based Puget Sound Surgical Center finished its renovation and expansion, according to an April 13 release.

The renovation included an expansion of the corridors, operating rooms and post-anesthesia care units. The center also updated its medical equipment. 

Puget Sound Surgical Center conducted the expansion to accommodate the growing number of patients and employees, the release said. 

The center has experienced substantial growth in the past few years — nine physicians have joined the company since 2016. The center has also added nurses, medical assistants, physician assistants and technicians.
