5 new ASC developments expected to cost $10M+

Five surgery center developments announced in the past several weeks are expected to cost at least $10 million by the project’s completion.

Here are the projects, which include standalone ASCs as well as larger medical office buildings and campuses with surgical centers:

City commissioners approved Bozeman (Mont.) Health‘s $20 million same-day surgery center and clinic project July 1.

A 12-surgeon group is collaborating with an investment firm to open a $16 million ASC in Puerto Rico.

Laramie, Wyo.-based Premier Bone and Joint is building a 21,000-square-foot, $10 million surgery center and physical therapy building in Laramie.

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is opening a $10 million ASC in partnership with Graves Gilbert Clinic and three physicians. Both organizations are based in Bowling Green, Ky.

Worcester, Mass.-based Reliant Medical Group and Quincy, Mass.-based Shields Health Care Group plan to open Natick (Mass.) Surgery Center in 2020. The groups expect to spend $10 million to turn an existing office building into the surgery center.
