The University of Miami Health System is expanding its bariatric surgery program by constructing a new office in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Here's what you should know.
1. Onur C. Kutlu, MD, will serve as the practice's primary provider.
2. Dr. Kutlu earned his medical degree from Ankara, Turkey-based University of Ankara. He completed a residency at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic and at Lubbock-based Texas Tech University. He then completed two fellowships: a general surgery fellowship at Charleston-based Medical University of South Carolina and a hepatopancreatobiliary surgery fellowship at Miami-based Miller School of Medicine.
3. He is active in the research field, having published several peer-reviewed articles.
