Marshall University’s school of medicine adds Dr. L. Eric Carter: 3 notes

The Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, W.Va., welcomed gastroenterologist L. Eric Carter, DO, as an assistant professor of medicine, according to a Huntington News report.

Here are three notes:

1. Dr. Carter is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterology Association.

2. He is a member of the Marshall University Medical Outreach Program, which aims to give basic medical care to the homeless.

3. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at East Tennessee State University-James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City.
