Here’s what you should know.
1. OAS CAHPS is a consumer and patient reporting tool which enables healthcare experience evaluation.
2. CMS is mandating certified ASCs report such data in 2018. gMed encourages ASCs to incorporate the service now to better prepared for mandatory reporting.
3. A CMS-certified survey vendor must administer the surveys and gGastro provides the survey vendor data that administers should be aware of. gMed developed a data extraction tool which allows the provider to send relevant data to the vendor.
4. Modernizing Medicine Director of Product Management Marina Simonian said in a release, “For over a decade gMed has provided gastroenterologists with a fully integrated procedure reporting platform combining the attributes of an EHR system and a report writer.
