Aries Pharmaceuticals launched its submucosal injectable composition Eleview.
Here's what you should know.
1. Eleview allows providers to remove polyps, adenomas, early stage cancers and other lesions in the gastrointestinal tract.
2. Cosmo Pharmaceuticals developed Eleview. Aries is the product's sole U.S. distributor.
3. Eleview creates a cushion that gives gastroenterologists improved lesion visibility and helps physicians remove lesions.
4. Researchers compared Eleview to saline, a commonly used agent. The study states that Eleview "demonstrated better cushion-forming ability and a duration of lift of up to 45 minutes."
