Houston gastroenterologist Yolanda Hamilton, MD, was found guilty of participating in a $16 million Medicare fraud scheme.

Hepion Pharmaceuticals named Stephen Harrison, MD, consultant medical director. Dr. Harrison is a visiting professor of hepatology at the University of Oxford in England. He is internationally known for his work around hepatitis C and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. He’s published more than 200 studies on these subjects.
