GI physician leader to know: Dr. Herman Kleinbaum of Mid Hudson Gastroenterology Associates

Herman Kleinbaum, MD, is the managing partner and founder of Mid Hudson Gastroenterology Associates in Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. He also serves as co-medical director at Hudson Valley Center for Digestive Health and is an attending physician at NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital, both located in Cortlandt Manor. He is board-certified.

Dr. Kleinbaum has served for more than two decades in the Cortlandt Manor/Peekskill area. He focuses on routine diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures with a special interest in liver disease. He also has a professional interest in GERD, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome and ulcerative colitis. He has authored numerous medical papers and is the member of a number of professional societies.

Dr. Kleinbaum earned his medical degree from Stony Brook (N.Y.) University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship at New York Medical College.
