The study included 25 physicians and 4,163 patients. It was published in April issue of Gastroenterology.
Here are three findings:
1. Adenoma detection rate with traditional colonoscopes was 23.5 percent, while with the Fuse colonoscope the ADR rate was 28.9 percent ADR.
2. Additionally, the Fuse system identified more polyps per colon as compared to the traditional system.
3. EndoChoice, founded in 2008, serves more than 2,500 customers in the United States and works with distribution partners in 30 countries.
