Dr. Tadataka Yamada joins Frazier Healthcare’s life sciences team

Tadataka Yamada, MD, PhD, has rejoined Frazier Healthcare as a member of the company’s life sciences team.

Dr. Yamada previously served as the CMO and chief scientific officer at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. He also has experience as the chief of the gastroenterology division at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

During his career, Dr. Yamda also served as the president of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Global Health Program in Seattle.

In addition to his role with Frazier, he serves on the board of directors for the Clinton Health Access Initiative.

Frazier provides growth capital to healthcare companies.
