Out of the 50 best hospitals in 2025-26 for cardiology, heart and vascular surgery, nine are located in the West.
U.S. News & World Report released its rankings July 29, which compares the best hospitals that care for patients with heart and vascular cases including heart transplants, implantation of cardiac devices, major chest procedures and patients with cardiovascular disease and other complex conditions such as endocarditis, heart failure and circulatory issues.
